Our mission at CFL (Counselling For Life) is to provide a robust counselling and training service to individuals and the community. We are privileged to walk alongside our clients as they navigate the uncertainties and challenges of life.
At CFL we provide support to our clients with care and compassion. It is through our strong relational connection with our clients that they become empowered to move forward in healthy and resilient ways.
Therapy can be an effective treatment for a host of mental and emotional problems. Talking about your thoughts and feelings with a supportive person can often make you feel better. It can be very healing, in and of itself, to voice your worries or talk about something that's weighing on your mind.
As an experienced and well-rounded team of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, we serve our greater community through counselling, training, groups and workshops, as our clients grow and develop.
At CFL we provide online and face to face one-to-one and couple, counselling or psychotherapy sessions, with a trained professional. Our therapists have a wealth of over 40 years experience working with addictions, abuse, mental and physical health issues, relationships and other traumas.
Our service is for both adults and young people offering the space to look at any concerns you may have about yourself or relationships in a safe non-judgemental environment.
We give you the opportunity to fully explore and work through your experiences, and we extend an approach to therapy, that values you as a unique individual.
Individual counselling sessions are 50 minutes and are usually weekly (unless agreed otherwise) at the regular appointment time. Appointments are available Monday to Saturday for daytime and evenings.
We deliver a range of professional development training for individuals, counsellors, psychotherapists, corporate organisations, social workers and other mental health professionals who work in a range of settings including the voluntary and higher education sectors.
Our workshops include:
